Golf 7 Folding Mirrors UK to work with EU Car

Hello,

I have a guestion about the folding mirros golf 7 UK type.

Is it possible that i can mount the UK folding mirros to a EU car.

Normaly the door control unit 42 is on the EU cars on the left side ( driver )
Do i need to switch the 42 control unit to the right side en the 52 passanger to the driver side.
The left mirror UK have more cables then right side.
In the EU the right side has more cables.

Depending when your car was built you may need to replace the door controllers altogether.

It should work, however you might lose the passenger mirror tilt down when in reverse function as the UK cars tilt down the left mirror while the european cars tilt down the right mirror.

So if i switch the control unit 42 driver with the passenger side 52, then the driver side will reverse, is this right.
Will this work.
