Lockwood golf sill protectors

I need sill protectors and been looking at the Lockwood ones. Are these any good? I've always thought of Lockwood to make chavy tacky parts that don't last too long. Do they fit neat and stay stuck down ok?

Anyone comment on these or suggest an alternative?

Hi mate, I have Lockwood satin finish protectors on my gti, bought them last year and they are great. Really good quality and have definitely protected my door frames from scuffs etc! Here's some pics.

I wish I'd put sill protectors on when I first got the car.  Got a few little chips now from gravel sticking to shoes  :sad:

Bit late but might invest in some to stop it getting worse.  They look alright.
