Does anyone have one on these head units?
I went to buy one yesterday but the guy in the shop said they need an additional 'black box' to run the climate control n parking sensors on the unit screen, was wondering if that is the case? Anyone?

anyways I bit the bullet and bought one, its the newer model ( been out about a week or 2) the kenwood dnx525dab... its a great piece of kit, looks like it was meant to be there all along, works great and is piss easy to fit.. it comes with everything you need to plug and play, works great with the climate control, parking sensors, steering wheel controls and dash board display.. the satnav is really spot on tbh, it says the gps antenna must be on the dash or such but actually works great tucked in my fuse box area!!
anyone looking to upgrade altho at a nasty cost its very worth it 
its got 3 pre outs 
HDMI in/out
USB
AUX and SD card
I sound like a salesman lol but im really a pig in sh!t with it right now

I'm glad you're happy with it.

I think that most people fit the RNS510 as they are plentiful secondhand. Even with Bluetooth and DAB retro fitted as well, they still work out less than the price of the Kenwood and look as it would from the factory.

I have the Kenwood. Got the stealers to fit it last year.
Good unit but can be a bit slow to boot up when turned on.
Biggest downside for me being that it needs a microphone for the hands free
