No/gti/dsg/apr 2014
I've emailed photos to my dealer & queried the omission.

Okay been back to the dealer today and they confirmed the engine (BW27) no longer comes with the manifold cover. Not sure whether this is VW penny pinching or what. Anyway I've ordered one + the fixings as it will be far easier to keep clean (Mk6 was a bugger in this respect).
5DR GTI PP 7.5, Indium, ordered 28 April 17, delivered 1 Sept 17, 19" Brecias, DSG, Lane Assist Plus, Discover Pro, Dynaudio, Reverse cam, DCC, Climate screen, Art Velour seats, 90% tints.

Build week 19, no cover. It certainly improves the look of the engine bay. My car is in to dealer next week so I will ask if it can be fitted

So it looks like it is build date dependent. Are the parts expensive?

Can't remember build week but picked the car up at the end of March 2014. Part missing on mine as well. Will query this with my local dealer.

I wouldn't rush to fit this, mine fell off by itself and jammed in the fan and back of the rad
