Part missing?

Apologies if this has been raised before guys but my car didn't come with the small plastic cover which sits in front of the main engine cover shown in this pic. Do other GTi's in the UK have this?

mines there but one of the clips are broke so it hangs at a funny angle every time i open my bonnet. None of the pics from any of the tuners so it on so tbh I dont think it matters one bit, think of it as weight saving
