Cheers mate, the gearbox feels almost brand new (although when moving the car tonight, 1st gear seemed a bit notchy compared to how it was this afternoon but still a million miles better
)
He basically did everything, replaced all the bushes etc from the gear linkage repair kit and even rushed down the scrappy due to another piece of rubber/plastic falling to bits as he took off the linkages etc
I sort of stood there feeling like a pleb and changed the airfilter, dizzy cap and rotor arm, oh but I managed to break my £130 prescription sunglasses with polarised lenses
