I've been using the ones from ebay but found the knurled end was scoring into the wheel nut hole on the alloy so had to wrap the ends with fabric tape.

I also got another nice oem part. Audi's come with a plastic piece to guide the wheel onto the hub. You only get about 2 uses out of it until the plastic threads strip. This is an aluminium one from a Phaeton/Touareg. As it's aluminium, it's very light, it's far light than you would expect. If there's interest, I'll dig out the part number:

This thread is a goldmine of information, I now want to get the jacking parts, wheel alignment tool and all the gubbins to install the lights to the doors.

Car hasn't been built yet and I'm already looking at bits to improve it  :whistle:
