Thks for posting the pic... Not sure how you did it....

I know that hairdresser and other non favourable thoughts are said about the cab BUT I am well chuffed with it, sounds great with the roof down and is markedly quicker than my ed35... It also seems more solid than my tin top for some reason....

Cabs look WAAAAAY better in the flesh especially with the R badge on the side lol....

Prices of 26k for a fairly low mileage newish cab are an absolute steal.... If you get a chance try one, you would be very surprised that I'm sure of.... The Rforum members seem to think very little of the cab BUT that's cos they know nothing about them IMO.
There interpretation is a hairdresser/ladies car,..... Couldn't be more wrong, looks very mean in the flesh and draws a lot of attention for some reason....

If you are tempted by any cab (Audi or BMW ) just try one of these too.....

Lastly, must have had something wrong with my ed35 as this seems better on mpg too .... Win win !

Cheers

Those R Cabrios just look so mean in the flesh.
Whenever I pass my local dealer I admire the black one they have.
I know they were silly expensive when launched and VW dropped the price by £5K at one point so I'd imagine there are 'bargains' to be had if timing is right.
I'm a closet R cabrio fan!

So, sometime down the road in ownership.

The car has been and absolute gem, and I am still as happy with it now as when I first got it.... very very very unusual for me....

IF you ever get tempted in buying one, do it, you will love it, values of this car make it an absolute bargain. All the negative stuff said about the R cab is totally unjustified other than the RRP which isn't a concern now....
The on road performance (after owning a standard GTI and an ED35) is better imo than both.... maybe track its not as tight but on road you won't ever be visiting this type of driving....

Every person who has seen it in the flesh always have good things to say about it, ... its exclusivity and looks leave alot of Audi cab owners thinking maybe they should have looked a bit harder.....

I'm not saying its the BEST car ever, but I am truly surprised just how good this car is......

Cheers
