Have you tried it with parcel shelf out?  I expect you have, but I remember someone previously saying that some mk6s got noise associated with the rubber stoppers on the ends of cord holding the shelf.

No not really, I dropped my ARB down from track to sport and its still a bit creaky. Im thinking about removing my boot lid, re-greasing and re-fitting to see if that makes any difference, as it only does it when the bootlid is shut.

White spray grease the hinged and also the strut hinges. But more likley the rubber mine regular needs extra loob to stop it creaking. The rubbers on the wires to the boot often need loobjng too!

If it is the boot door seals/rubbers then as stated previously, Krytox works wonders.  I used it on my front door seals and it completely eliminated the noise problem I was having (was recommended to me by Beddie and GS Wax).  Did the rest of the car with it just for good measure.  Not cheap for a small bottle but worth it.

Available from TPS, part no. G052172A1  VW Krytox  (DuPont GPL-105).  30ml £28 plus VAT

Not sure which bits you mean, can you takes pics of where you think i should lube. What lube do you use on the hinges? Ive only used WD40 so far. Thanks

I used
ixtar white spray lithium grease. On the boot hinges at the top of the hatch.
Also on the ball/sockets of the struts on the sides of the hatch.
Autoglym rubbercare on the rubber boots covering the wiring to the hatch.
krytox on the rubber seal.

Sprayed the hinges on top of the hatch, sprayed the seals. Still the same.

Do anyone know what size sockets fits the bolts on the hinges? Its not a standard size

I was thinking about remove the bootlid and re-fitting.
