« on: 09 August 2014, 11:31 »
my new mk6 ED35 been into mk4s so long but I couldn't resist a mk6, looked at a few GTIs, found a few had rough body work or smart repairs on corners, finally I found mine it was at VW Chalfont, lil expensive but very worth it

ignore the juice bottle(not mine) n the awful rover messing up my pics lol

Well worth waiting for the right car and looks like you've got a beauty! I've got wheel envy again, every time I see an Ed35 it makes me want Watkins Glens!

Me too. Really like anthracite coloured Watkins Glen alloys. Ed35 looks great Ben.

Just finished wiping the tears away, I do miss mine. A mist do is painting the rear diffuser gloss black, really finishes the back end off.

I do want to do a few things to it, performance wise im unsure of what parts to actually go for as its a mk5 engine? do I buy mk6 or mk5? exhaust air filter ect?
the Watkins glens I agree are the best standard wheel for the golf by a long shot
I was thinking a carbon dip on the rear diffuser?
what u driving now ginge?

Personally I'd do it black gloss as it look more OEM, but each to their own. Most of the bits of the edi30 will bolt straight on.

I strayed to the dark side of bmw and at the moment drive a 3 series, it's not a bad old bus but it ain't a VeeDub!

I guess I could try black, how does it look though its not smooth?
so ed30 air intake? what about exhausts? n other bits?
what you do to yours?

Yes smooth finish, intake will fit straight on, exhaust won't as the mk5 wasn't dual corner exhaust, she'd loads of bits will fit!
