Bluetooth on RNS 510

Anybody able to shed some light on why when I am playing music thru the stereo via bluetooth why it is only coming out of what I can make of it one side or one speaker ...

is there a way of changing the settings?

Obvious thing to check is in the setup menu (hard button with musical note icon) that the balance - fader option is set equally to play through all speakers, left/right and front/back.
