US 2015 GTI Recall

There is a recall & stop-sale of the 2015 GTI in the US - http://www.usatoday.com/story/money/cars/2014/07/10/volkswagen-golf-gti-stop-sale/12509029/

Do any of you have any info whether its relevant to the EU GTI (these that were manufactured in Germany)?

This could be Mexican made only. Therefore not affecting UK cars.
