Decided to go down the tuning box route for now as I am the world's most impatient man. That along with the TD1 warranty flags and the tuners ''it is a couple of weeks away" I decided to give one a bash.

To to cut a long story short...

0-60mph = 3.77
0-100mph = 8.92

For comparison, the benchmark set by revo last week with their Stage 1 remap, intake and sticky rubber ...

This was run this morning with a 10c ambient temp on a flat road (Gradient less than 1%)

Big thumbs up to Andrew at DTUK who shipped the box out to me within 24hrs and answered all my questions.

Car drives great, stock like, smooth but with a lot more punch.

Not as scientific, but last night I filmed a 0-60 run in my DSG GTI with a DTUK FSR+ box set on 2+3 and got around 5.5 seconds every time - traction is the main issue now, so no point taking it any further with 2wd IMHO...

With 4wd the time would have been close to the stock R I reckon...

Thanks Andrew, the box is great - looking forward to hearing about the dyno runs with the S1.

2 +3 sounds good, Think I am on 3 +3 but did feel 2 +3 may have been slightly better. Totally agree about the traction but a great improvement over stock.
