Apparently the APR intake will be released on the same day...

I can get some pics. It was never a permanent setup.  Just wanted something better than standard until custom kits came out. Works really well and much more responsive than standard.

So what would you guys recommend? APR or Revo remap? Also where is the best place to take it Hertfordshire based or near.

With the new ones who knows, its always been an area of contention.

Think APR won the previous gen round, but without having any experience this time round its hard to make a call. I believe apr is 310 and revo is 290 (cant remember where ive seen that though) but revo might be a bigger curve etc etc.

when it comes to choice you get your fans and your floating voters, some like peak power numbers some like a bit more torque, some like linear throttles some don't

don't believe Revo have produced any figures for the GTI or the R as only do on release

both are reliant on a dealer network with Awesome back at the reigns for APR, other things to consider are dealer network, switching etc

speaking to someone who has gone to an OBD map from a tuning box today and first thing he said was the map was far better in terms of drivability on a manual R

APR 310 bhp Revo 290bhp sounds excessive for a stage 1!?!?
