Haaaaaa actually laughed out loud at this, couldnt agree more. I juat cant see what "new" about it. I have never been a fan of them. Plus, how or why would you pay more for this than a 7r. No brainer imo. But i do believe there is more as standard

there isnt many options you need to add by the looks of it but its old tech.

yes you get a satnav as standard but its RNS315 from a mk2 leon, no ACC and CC is an extra, so is hill hold which just annoys me as that should be standard kit.

And most importantly, no MQB!

Crazy money for Cupra performance in old chassis tech, without 4wd, but with Vienna leather and DCC as standard. It looks very poor value next to the Golf R. Had 2 Sciroccos and loved them, but too many cars out there copying the looks and ride comfort on MQB platform is noticeably superior. This will look very poor value next to new TT, unless their prices are hiked massively too (although Scirocco can comfortably fit 2.adults in the back).
Whey ya bugger! It's finally arrived after an 8 month wait....

i don't even think its got the same engine as the R or Cupra (all be it same power)

Interesting is DCC has same level of functionality

my mk6 35 was a way better car than the rocco, the 7R is just in a different league

you're right, the fuel consumption is too high, wonder if they've put any new hardware on it or if its just a measily map

The next TT is potentially looking very very expensive. Going by the prices on the German Audi site your looking at £31,000 for the 2.0l Quattro s-tronic and closer to £40,000 for the TTS

For so many people, the sticker price is surely irrelevant isn't it? Many people have posted on here about how they can drive around in whatever car for so much a month. So as long as the residuals are strong and the overall cost of the finance deal is affordable, that's all that most people are bothered about. It's only when all the money comes from your account in one go that it might smart a bit.

I'm surprised there aren't any deals on the Scirroco by now however. It's due to be replaced and about time. I've thought it has been old hat for a couple of years or more.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

This is the replacement tho,  won't be any deals on a "new" model. You'd have to be an idiot to buy this, everything is old.
