Why would my car show up as 125 bhp ?

My reg on insurance sites say 125 bhp 1800 and confuse.com shows a picture of a mk2 golf  :undecided:
All my doc's for the car say its a 1.8t agu import , insurance say its not a import.  :huh:

Maybe because bhp is different at the wheels compared to the flywheel.  :undecided:

Did it 100% start life as a 1.8t or has it had a conversion

Insurance database is full of oddities / mistakes

My 130 showed up as 115bhp according to some insurers

my guess it started out as a 1.8n/a and had a 1.8t engine fitted.

or the dvla insurance database is wrong, with the amount of cars out there there is bound to be a few mistakes

Bugs me because the mileage is 102198, but if the engine was changed it could be 200000  :undecided:

Says 110kw  think thats the power output

Dead easy, take your chassis / vin number to the main dealer and they will tell you what spec it was when built.
