Traction warning light
« on: 27 June 2014, 20:16 »
Recently my traction light comes on now and then when driving, I have pushed the button to turn it off but it wont go off, after turning the engine off for 10 minutes an then back on, traction light is off again and enables me to switch it on and off again...but after about 10 minutes driving it lights up again an I can no longer turn it off, also noticed when driving the steering feels loose like the traction is off(this is before the light is back on). I have a 1.4 16v, looked around the engine for a maf sensor but cant find it as I have read that this can cause problems related to my traction problem, any suggestions?

what are you using to scan for fault codes? don't say one of the cheap obd2 scanners...

could be issue with something else... abs sensors etc
