ARZ K03s, Oettinger Side Skirts, R32 front, Carbon stage 2, Forge 007p (yellow spring), Forge Actuator (yellow spring), Pipercross panel filter with DSG parts, N249 and N112 deleted, SAI deleted, Carbon canister deleted, Rear wiper deleted, Long Life turbo back custom exhaust with 200 cell sports cat, VR6/G60 clutch kit, Creation Motorsport TIP, Catch can, 'Wellycooler', K04 charge pipe, S3 ported inlet manifold - looks pretty standard on the outside though :)

Was the crash bar that come with the wellycooler a good fit? Can always use that on the eurojet kit I guess

Think it was £349 plus £12 posting. Same ones go for $700 in the US, wanted it cuz the pipe work is at the top and it wasn't that bad a price really.

10 mins max to make that bar and they couldn't get it right. Going to email just to see what they say.

Guess if it comes to it we always have the option of cutting the standard crash bar but it would be easier still to just cut and weld the eurojet bar.

The standard one is quite hefty compared to that euro jet one (my bathroom towel handrail looks stronger)
that being said if it does the job..

In truth the euro jet one is twice as heavy if not more. Don't let it fool you.

I can definitely vouch for that  :grin: the crash bar weighs as much as the rest of the intercooler kit, definitely strong.

Heavy doesn't necessarily represent strength if it's fabricated from cheap sub standard mild steel though...then theres the questionably poor welding heads?

There's always the option of cutting the standard crash bar if that's stronger, it's easier to cut the standard one than the eurojet too so it would save you having to do some hard grafting
