R32 bumper
« on: 25 June 2014, 14:19 »
Trying to fit one now but lower bolts dont meet up to std bumper ones.

Looks like they go to crash bar bolts. Is that right?

They have a washer on I cant remove to fit flush

No. Think I need to get bolts to go through the bumper and into the crash bar. Ones without washers. Min have fixed washers.

Couldnt find anything about any of this online

the front bumpers just slip on and are secured with screws - four torx in both arches, three bigger torx under the grille, one in either front lower grille and one next to each headlight AFAIK

Yup, did mine last week
ARZ K03s, Oettinger Side Skirts, R32 front, Carbon stage 2, Forge 007p (yellow spring), Forge Actuator (yellow spring), Pipercross panel filter with DSG parts, N249 and N112 deleted, SAI deleted, Carbon canister deleted, Rear wiper deleted, Long Life turbo back custom exhaust with 200 cell sports cat, VR6/G60 clutch kit, Creation Motorsport TIP, Catch can, 'Wellycooler', K04 charge pipe, S3 ported inlet manifold - looks pretty standard on the outside though :)

Fixed this issue now.

I needed 2 bolts for lower mounts by grilles without washers to replace ones currently in crash bar.
