As the driver's mat in my car is starting to wear through I wondered if anyone had any recommendations for GTI mats? What have you guys got in your car?

I don't particularly like rubber mats so I'm looking for fabric ones, maybe with a little GTi detail on them? Did VW make some genuine GTI accessory mats, though I'd imagine they'd be pretty expensive? I'm not against having aftermarket ones (I had some from carmats4u in my Alfa and was pretty happy with them) but I'd like something OEM looking.

I've just got the standard Golf mats in mine all round and my neighbor was so kind that when he sold his MK6 for his Mk7 gave me a brand new set never been opened! so just change as I wear thru.

They are just plain black, but a little GTI logo would look good on them I guess.

Yeah I don't mind the standard black mats at all really but something a bit harder wearing and with a little detail to differentiate from standard the Golf's would be nice

I've got the plain mats that came as standard but I bought the genuine vw GTI logo mats which I use in summer and have a deeper pile than the standard ones.  In winter I either use the standard ones  but more often I use a set of rubber mats as I visit lots of muddy outdoor sites with work and they're easier to clean.

I used JustMats a few years ago on my MK4

They had lots of options and I think you could have your own logo put on them if you wanted
