Have a look on your ecu and message the guy on ebay. He is very helpful and knows his stuff. He will send you the chip which is specifically for your ecu. If you have a 16v you can easily install it yourself.

The push in type ABF chips can be swapped in about 15 minutes they're that easy.

The chip will alter ignition timing and fueling, power delivery should be smoother, the rev limit may be slightly higher depending on the program, mpg can also increase when driven sensibly, gains can be anything upto around 7 bhp with just the chip

the ignition timing cant be altered on standard management, or so im lead to believe.

i think all simens ecu's are push fit chips and all bosch ecu's need to be socketed or soldered in

You will be lucky to get 2 or 3 bhp from any chip! The exhaust no gain at all.

I do have the Rolling Road graphs to prove this!

Yeah thats right. Only reason I changed my exhaust was that I got a good deal on a Jetex otherwise I would have kept it until it started to blow,

The chip runs more advanced timing over stock.Tbh even with a gain of 7bhp,it wont feel much different as the torque you gain is very little 3-4 nm
