Gearstick Cover

I'm not sure how I get the old one off, it is haggered an frayed. I have bought a new one, but it seems impossible too take the gear nob off or the leather lol any advice please?

Easy coming off, pain is putting it on.  :grin:

There should be a circular metal clasp holding the knob onto the metal rod. I just used a flat head screw driver to pry it off.

However, I had to get my mate to put my knew one on as the cirlus clip needs a tool to put it a new one back one.

Bt..once you take the clip off, you can't reuse it (i think).

Someone else may be better to advise of a easier way to rmeove it.

use a pair of pincers/pliers put them on the pertruding part of the clasp and twist ,it will snap it . they cant be reused ,un need a new one ,you shud get one with ur new gatior.

I just used a jubilee clip to put mine one
