Hi I've got the standard head unit and a six disc changer in the boot but went out today and the cd changer has stopped working it's just saying no cd magazine on radio any help please

I know this is always the answer but get it on vagcom and access the radio modual
see what it does ive never tried!!
have you tried ejecting the cartridge?

Yep tried ejecting the cartridge put all new CDs in still just saying same thing

its like no power is going to mine scan say exessive comms error BTW i had your problem with an old 1 i had i used cotton bud and cleaned lense after that it was fine

Have a look at the connectors on the actual cartridge/ where the cartridge goes into the changer there may be something impeding the connection
