When mine went on my 1.8t I went to my local garage and he put a refurbished one on for me from GSF with a two year garantee fitted for £300 and that was mates rates.

Can sell you one for £200 but would need your old one back!

Decent make too.

Alternatively I have a second hand one here in good nick, I don't need it as going TT!

Where all my moneys went.

Are the TT racks geared differently or something?

Less turns lock to lock, so their known as a 'quick rack'.

TT rack goes straight on, you'd have to swap the rod ends round if you're not going with the TT hubs. You could always use the Golf track rods if needed though

Check ebay for recon ones. Between £120-150 mark and you send your old one back, free courier if your close enough. Chuck it on yourself its easy enough.

Make sure you buy new track rod ends aswell. Get genuine ones as cheaper ones are shorter
