DV+

Just recommending it.
if ur dv goes, replace it with a GFB DV+ its like a new car. i did drive around for about a month with what i suspected was a split dv, so when this was on, it would feel ten times better, so direct comparison is a bit hard, but im pleased with it. and yeh i did put this on because im still toying with the idea of a remap once i have some spare cash, but the standard ones about £40 another version was about £60 and the DV+ was £100. compared to the other 2 this one doesnt really look like it can break anytime soon (ive said it now)

incase u havent read on here already about a split dv, u would feel a loss of power (its there but takes longer to get it) and whistling especially up through 2 3 and 4th gears. and the main give away for me was my ESP light wouldn't come on as often lol

i've fitted a few of these to customers cars now and the quality does seem pretty good. the only downside is it uses the main frame of your stock DV and just replaces the internals so if it ever develops an electrical fault you still have to buy a new stock dv and swap the internals over again. I did consider one for mine but i think I'll go with a standard G revision if/when mine pops again.

I too fitted one of these, and despite the need to use the stock solenoid, I'm very happy with it. Even on a stock engine, I felt that my high end power was smoother in deliver and the engine felt less strained under acceleration.
