nope as far as i am aware, the fly is a different diameter to the 16v. I have a lightened one on the way.

Just need to know if i need to change driveshafts etc.

i did this to my 16v - till the box went bang (make sure the box is good!).....

im pretty sure the flywheels are the same, i never changed mine. the clutches are different and the pressure plates are the same. You can use the original driveshafts from your 8v although if you can get hold of the 16v items would be best to fit these.

Mine is the 16v, and i am fitting a 8v box. So from everything i have heard all i need is the clutch and box, i am getting the fly regardless as it is lightened and a bargain. Cheers Stu.

Can i ask why you are putting an 8v gearbox on a 16v?

abit off topic here. Would a 4+E box be any good for sprinting or are they just stronger?
