isv bypass

just wondering if theres any way of bypassing the isv as iv tried 3 different 1s and they all keep playin up i.e. rev's hunting up and down and cutting out, any help would be greatly appreciated

I doubt there's anything wrong with the ISV. More likely your ECU is not 'seeing' the idle switch on the throttle body, either because the switch isn't operating, or there's a wire bust somewhere between the switch and the ECU.

A good place to look for problems with the TB wiring is a few inches back from the two-way loom connector, towards the middle of the car, where the wiring goes across directly above the heat of the exhaust manifold.

Throttle switch might not be clicking. You can adjust the screws on the throttle body to suit.

Broken throttle switch wires are another common problem.

its not your isv...
