That's a bit sh@t then,I put 18s on mine and going from 1confirm sou can feel so much more on the road ,not sure if it's the low profile tyres or I'm just getting old to quick lmao

I was going to ask about this actually as I know a lot of mk4 owners run with 18's but wanted to know what the ride was like?
Obviously they'll look better than my current 16" Montreals but is the jump up in size day and night in terms of comfort which i must confess to be revelling in after my abundance of mk3's?

p.s. Im miserable fussy old b@stard  so these things are important.

my mk4 I got 18" with 35 profile tyres on jom coilovers ride is lovely just feels tight and together - safer infact compared to the old suspension going round corners but i woudnt say stiff but i have only used original bushes nothing poly
