« on: 05 June 2014, 19:46 »
over the last 2 days i have noticed my temperature gauge getting up to temp like normal and then drop back witch i think is when the thermostat opens but it never gets back up to temp.

i have check with a temperature gun the top and bottom hoses top warmer than the bottom and the head block and they all read normal temperatures and no lose of any water. what could cause this

a friend of mine mentioned there's something on the back of the dash clocks?

and also my rev counter is not working could that be linked?

This is most likely a battery/alternator issue. Sounds wrong but it happened to me a few months back. Hit the Alternator with a hammer a few times and see if it bounces back to normal. If it does then you need a new one.

This could also be an earthing issue or similar
