Inner Spots
« on: 07 September 2005, 09:02 »
How the fudge to you get them out? Got my nice inner clear crosshairs, but cant get the old bugger out!

Tried undoing one screw and it pushed through and now im missing a black clip thing. Do i twist the white things behind the lights? that the bolts screm into?

Got a new grill comming this week so hopefully that will have connectors on but i doubt that :|

Just twist the little white securing brackets until they meet up with the slot on the grill, most will require use of a set of pliers if they are anything like mine.

You'll probably need new ones for the new grill. You can get em from VW and they cost about a tenner for a full set.

There is another thread on this some months back that includes the part number. It might be useful as the monkey at the dealership I went to got the wrong bits in the first time. If you do go and talk to them take the old ones or pint the bits out on the exploded diagram on their computer.
