I've had my Mk3 for nearly 3 years, it's a 1992 2.0 8v 3 door in Alpine White with only 86931 miles.
I purchased this to restore and it's been sat in my garage ever since, finally got motivated to start the restoration about a year ago, removed all the plastic arches and side member trims only to discover driver side arch badly corroded, passenger sill completely rotten and both front wings rusted badly.
So saved up the money to get these parts fitted to discover that the floor and front outriggers were also badly corroded, so I've decided that it's time to say bye to it so I've started breaking this for spares to keep other Mk3's on the road so I thought that a MK3 Golf GTi owners club would benefit from the spares.
