Depends if you want height adjustability ?
I got springs once, annoyed me as I wanted it slightly lower and the car was still bouncy as sh!t. Had coilovers ever since on every car
I've had the real cheap ones, expensive ones and some on the middle
Joms are ok but pretty bouncy, upside is they are very cheap
Fk a little more expensive, miles better quality, better ride even slammed on its ass it was perfectly driveable. They also didn't corrode at all in 2 years
AP little more expensive again, these had camber and damping adjustment. They were perfect, could have it on its ass and still be really comfy. Although these are out of your price range, look for second hand ones that's what I did
Had a mk4 with kw coilovers on and they were not worth the price difference compared to AP.
I wouldn't get springs, it'll annoy you withing weeks, you'll either want it a little lower or a little firmer etc
