Not Glasgow area...

But I took my refurbished alloy to my local VW dealer. When I had my winter tyres on and I left it with them.

I got a call a couple days later saying it was done, missed it and completely forgot about it.

Was driving past a couple months later and had a light bulb moment, popped in, and he goes out the back, walks back with my tyre and alloy in it's case. Laughed and joked I had left it there for so long.

Anyway, the point of my story; my VW dealer got their mobile smart repair person who travels around the sites to fix it. They said they got charged £40+ Vat from their internal person, which was cheaper than what I saw online at least. I can't see where they've refurbished it, it's that good. They also said don't worry about paying for it, it's on the house. I tried to insist but they wouldn't take my money, so mine was free.

But your VW dealer might be worth a shot...
