imobaliser vr6 in a mk2

Right then everything ia wired in as it should be and engine cranks as ut should runs then cuts out everytime

Everything points to the imobaliser set up.so i wired in the obd port and it wont let my compueter read says link error


Any ideas or ahould i just get the imobliser removed

Cars from 95+ (or so) had immobliser fitted from factory. Im not sure how it works on a mk2 but:
Option 1: deimmoblise ecu
option 2: wire in the immobliser.
on the mk3s theres a chip in the key. You have the chip reader around the ignition barrel.

Cheers guys ive wired in the box and key and chip and stuff and still no joy can they lose there coding like the mk4 ones do ive had to code a few mk4 keys
