Need to change the bootlid

As the title... Need to change the bit, how hard a job is this to do?

Easy enough but it's easier with an extra pair of hands.

Anyone know where I can get an 8mm multi thread wrench? For taking the hinges off a bootlid

If your replacement boot has got the hinges on I would drop the headlining at the rear of the car and unbolt it from there rather than leaving the hinges attached to the car. I'm sure that's what I did with mine.

Unfortunately the replacement doesn't have the hinges... Didn't notice till I took the old one off

All on now just need to get the lock changed over and get it locking through central locking

Cheers mate was a bit if a hassle as realised it didn't have any of the bits for the central licking so had to change part of the loom and some if the lock bits.... Only problem was I had to split one of the rubber boots that covers the wires so need to come up with a fix for that
