just got these from ebay for £40 not sure how much they generally go for all complete ready to fit.

prob sound thick but never changed headlights before so what the method to install these ?

Bumper needs to come off:

Then it's 4 torx screws per lamp, undo plug from rear of the lights and job done. I reckon I could do the lot in half an hour, but if you've not done it before allow about an hour.

cheers dom just noticed my mistake They also come with a set of 8000k hid kits attached. The ballest are fine but the bulbs will need replacing what bulbs will I need to buy ? are the same as what ive got in my lights at the mo my light are the standard gti ones with fogs

u need hid replacement bulbs, personally i would have 6k

Ive bought hids of this site before decent and fast delivery, ur only looking at 15 quid for the bulbs

cheers fella the 8k is was came with them so Im assuming the bulbs in my car at the mo are different to the ones I need to buy

just picked up the wheels but there's loads of wires slightly comfused he said I need to get a new hid kit so I got the lights for 20 quid can I use my normal bulbs or do I have to use a hid kit

If you completely remove the HID kit you'll be able to use standard bulbs. But chances are both main and high beam will be h7. Standard lights run a h1 as the high beam so you'll need another pair of h7s compared to your standard lights to fit.

HID kit as said above go either 6k for white light with a slight blue tinge or 5k for white light.

thanks for the info ill add pics of what on the lights now should I just be left with the shell of the lights when removed ? only because the hid thats installed onto them dont work he said the ballasts have blown because there seems to be loads of wires im not sure how to remove them lol ill pit pics up in a min unless anyone is near or in west london that could assist me
