Ordering the red badges front and rear tonight for £40 from local Volkswagen dealer.  Can someone confirm exactly how you remove the chrome badge from the front grille without breaking anything please?

It's really simple. Lift the bonnet. There are 2 torx screws on the grill, remove those and then gently tug the grill upwards and out towards you. Once one or two clips release it should be obvious how to release the rest. Once the grill is out, you'll see from behind that the badge is just clipped in and a small flat knife or screwdriver will help you release the tabs.

Cheers JoeGTI.  Removed the front and rear badge last night.  Still got a bit of adhesive residue left on the rear which I'm not too bothered about as the red badge will be going back over, but what is best to completely remove it.  I have heard WD40 works?
