any idea how big a job these would be to remove? are they stuck on or pinned on?
My mate has bought the same car as me, same colour and same alloys, but not a PP, so I would like to have the red badges just to be differant

I've ordered a set for mine from local dealers. Should be in early this week. I'll post part numbers, cost etc when I get them if it hasn't already been done. It took some effort to explain what I was after...I'm still not 100% the fella understood?!?

I think they are glued to the boot, they can't be taken off that easy. However they can be ordered at the dealer, they should know the part number.

Lol you've got bigger brakes and the GTI logo on the calipers, so it should be pretty obvious the difference between yours and his.

I know I have the bigger discs and the logo's on the callipers, but just to finish itoff with the red badges would be nice....
Thanks for the info on the removal of the badge, I think a heat gun would be in order to remove the silver badge, what about the front badge is that pretty straight forward??

Heat gun? NOOOOOO - unless you want to strip paint - dental floss is your friend to remove from the boot.

Aaahhhh!!!!......was thinkingof something else with the heat gun :embarrassed:.....FFS that would just have been like it a paint job on the arse of the GTI...then that would have made the differance between mine and my mates

Thanks for the heads up, and saving me a trip to the paint booth :embarrassed:

Just been talking to my mate who used to work at a VW dealer in the workshop and like wise he said the dental floss is the way to go
