I bought my 8v new in 1989 and the only factory option was standard steel or optional teardrop alloy. I have a feeling the dealer may have offered BBS but from memory it was not until 1990 that these were offered from the factory.
BBS wheels were a dealer fit option, but they weren't RA's. They were split rims, possibly RM's.
