Coil pack wiring harness 2 types??
« on: 24 May 2014, 03:54 »
Okay so looking at a new coil pack wiring harness as mine is old and another possible cause for the misfire? But there are two types one with oil feed and one without? How can I tell? More wires?
Golf Mk4 GTi Turbo, R32 front bumper, Lowered on ProSport Coilovers, Bora illuminated vents, Armrest, Heko wind deflectors, Aluminium vinyl trim.

Soon to be added, FMIC, 3" exhaust, Remap..oh and new turbo :(

Oil level sensor is in the sump, you will only need it if you replace the complete loom back to the ECU, if not just get the one without and splice it in to replace all the splits that usually happen round the coil packs.  Going back to the ECU allow for about 3 hours fitting, or splice in to old loom somewhere near the CTS, around 45 mins depending how quick you are with a soldering iron.
