Anyone recommend an engine supplier?
« on: 05 September 2005, 20:38 »
Mate of mine has just been told that the piston rings are gone and wants a recon unit.  Not keen on the ebay route as he would rather get a warranty (has twin babies and reliability is more important than cost!). Based near Redhill in Surrey, and has a pet garage who will do the swap.  Drives an H-reg 8v.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Vege UK do top notch re con engines all palletted up look brand new as if from a factory in Duetschland but they're reconditioned . And they take your old one in exchange to rebuild heard good things from people with bugs and campers and I used to fix they're Telephones a very impressive warehouse they have there.
