« on: 19 October 2003, 22:44 »
 :)

Hello everyone!

I currently own a MK4 Astra and i'm selling it to sort out my finances and getting a Mk 2 Golf GTI!

I'm a regular on Corsa Sport and i believe Gambit is on here?? I'm Corsa Nut Gambit BTW..

Anyway i just need to sell my Astra then the hunt begins for my new car  8) One of my mates had owned 2 GTI's,one 8V and one 16V and he is telling me to get the 8V as he thought it was a better drive ???

Anyway i would really like to find an Oak green 16V and have 2K to part with..

Nice to meet you all!

Alan

Welcome mate. Don't listen to that 8v crap, the 16v IS superior all the way up the rev range.

16v trhough and through, i drove both and th 16v is a much better car especially if u end u going down motorways when the 8v is sh!t.

The 8v is a good car, but the 16v is simply better. Given the choice always go for the 16v.

Jesus!  :o

That was quick lads!  ;D

Yeah the 16V is my first choice tbh.I used to have an AXGT a few years ago that was fun but 16V's are more fun IMO.
