There shouldn't be a prescribed limit, i'd ban all levels off drink driving.

I think its shocking he was caught drink driving but what apart from him being a cop is so special about him compared to all the other people caught drink driving , no insurance or driving licence etc etc that doesn't hit the news .
I would double the fines and take the cars off all the above and hit them hard what good is fineing someone for no insurance when the fine is less than what they would pay for insurance and as for drink driving it should be a minimum £1000 fine regardless of who they are or if they are working or not ........
Rant over .......

I agree, not sure what your trying to say Barry.

Everyone caught drink driving / driving with no insurance should have their vehicle seized and crushed - even if 'stolen' from a family member...

well he has been a cop for how long ? so he should know the rules and the damage it can cause if he hits someone so he should be a bit more responsible than he has been

He should have been more responsible and know the rules my point was he is no better than anyone who drives drunk or without insurance etc etc and its only because of the job he had it hits the papers .
He will be fined and banned and will lose his job , pension etc etc and imo he deserves all he gets .
