Just introducing myself. I am Dave from County Antrim and hopefully going to purchase my first GTi in near future. Been looking at a few over past few days in N.Ireland. Saw a nice 2009 MK5 Tornado red today and pleased with the test drive I had, so giving it serious thought
Only two things on my mind, which I know I should have asked the salesman at the time, firstly it had full leather, is that optimistically heated seats? Secondly it had the more basic radio/cd, is it an easy upgrade to the RCD 510 which I really like or is it not compatible with a Mk5 given that it does,nt have a multi function steering wheel.
Been trawling through loads of posts to see what to look out for when buying so hopefully better informed than I was
