Best way to get a dump valve noise?
« on: 05 May 2014, 19:14 »
Hello I'm new here and am looking for something that can give me a DV kinda noise? I'm aware there is a DV on the car already.

Read things about cone filters giving the "wooosh" noise? However I know little about them

Thanks in advance

You need a bypass valve that vents to atmosphere, the GTI is fitted with a valve that recirculates the charged air back into the air intake.

I've been in a Golf that had a Forge BOV and the noise became a bit annoying after a while.

Or fit an carbonio intake! Might be a little less annoying than having the dump valve go off every gear change.
Gti, Candy White, 3door, DSG, Leather, Rear LEDs, Bluefin, Milltek, vwr intake, Focal speakers.
