Went into the garage after work one day last week and saw my can of paint and primer sat there
so seeing as i was going to be having along weekend
i decided to get the inlet manifold finally coloured to match the cam cover, also give the fuel rail a tidy up to,so ordered the required parts from my local dealer and removed and painted all the parts yesterday and re-assembled,taken a few pics so thought i would post up :-
New inlet manifold gasket, throttlebody gasket, injector seats & some injector seals
Best to replace with new as the original seats/seal were a touch leaky especially on number 3,so needed replacing so why not paint the manifold etc at the same time
£33 for these with discount
still needed done tho.
As you can see number 3 is quite bad and number 4 not to good.
Nice clean inlet not bad for nearly 133k
Primered.
De-masked and finished.
Re-fitting.
And so now here's how its all looking now.
Real happy how it all looking
