brake pads and discs help needed

I got 4 tyres put on today and the fella said my rear brakes are getting close so im looking to replace the front and rear brake pads and discs but what discs and pads will I need to get my car is a 8v 2.0 w reg if that helps thnx guys
Standard gti 2.0 115bhp 2000 w reg

Depends on what you want to pay really  :laugh: from local carparts or dealers etc iirc tradepartsspecialists (genuine oem parts but cheaper) do a value range for cars over ten years old and they are vw parts to oem spec but cheaper  :wink:

I dont mind the price obviously not through the roof but rather have a decent set of brakes and discs what kinda price am I looking at inc fitting ?

pricewise from tps (for value range) mine were for a mk3 tho but discs were about 40 quid for the pair and under 15 quid for pads as for fitting depends on the garages labour price really its not a long job really but you can replace these quite easily on your mk4 if mechanically minded and saves some money  :wink:

For your car just go with euro car parts and get Pagids they will do the job more than enough! or pm boneybradley he might be able to sort you out
