figure out oil problem

ok been having probbs with the motor(non stop) was getting oil in and all over air box cleaned out hoses and still there!
so i took rocker breather hose off while engine was running took it of airbox end and to my surprise thats where the oil was coming from and also really hot thick smoke whih if its going into airbox cant be good...any ideas

Sounds like you have over filled your oil. If you have this is exactly what will happen.

i havent no!!
 since ive got it ive regularly had to top up within limits had this problem when i got itand oil on the gearbox end aswell..
was thinking of stripping it down and rebuilding it new pistons skim the head etc etc just in two minds. also been topld the stem seals will need replacing aswell done 115,000 miles that i know of so maybe its time to do it

i have that problem on roundabouts :grin:
oil goes to oneside and out the breather loadsa smoke, hasnt done it in a while

Looking at the post above it could be related to the baffles in the sump. If they are broken oil will swish around all over the place.

would that be part of the sump guard itself if so would a new one do the trick
