Well this seems to be advance notice, so not sure how accurate, but had an email from the guy in charge of our company cars as mine is in BW24 he says!

He ordered it on 11th April and stated a 3 month lead time, so if it is in that build week looks like I will receive it around mid July so a 13 week lead time, not bad at all.

My spec is:

Golf GTD Carbon Grey
5 door
Nav upgrade (not pro)
Keyless
Rear camera
Winter pack

Anyone else heard if they are in this BW yet?

Strange I ordered mine 7th and its build week 28!

Not quite sure how that works!!

The dealers only get to order X amount per month. So all depends if your dealer has any allocation left to place the order with VW or has to wait till the following month when he will have more allocation.

Also some dealers will have cars already in the system that haven't reached build week yet so can be altered to the customers choice. This can reduce the waiting time by quite a bit.

Its just a lottery as I doubt dealers will be overly truthful and tell you they are out of allocation for the next 2 months!!
