Suspension Problem advice required
« on: 01 May 2014, 20:27 »
Ok so i got new shocks and springs fitted couple of weeks ago and the last few days started hearing a noise (rear drivers side) So took a look tonight and it seems that one of the bolts mounting the shock to the car has worked its way lose.

Right i thought this should be a 5 minute job i'll tighten it back up. LOL oh no its never that easy after what felt like ages of turning the bolt i came to the conclusion it wasnt going in any further at all.

So i thought lets get in the boot find the other side to tighten it but after taking the furry plastic crap off i couldnt find it could some please explain how to fix this i really dont want to have to take it back to the garage again which is miles away and dont want to drive it to far before it becomes a bigger issue.

Thanks in advance
Richard

Take it back there mate and ask them to put it right, clearly they are at fault, and if the problem was pre existing they should have informed you and rectified it, ie new bolt or new thread etc.... That or get a a manual and do it yourself, I would go back to the garage dude
